This instructional program directly addresses the diversity in achievement present in adolescent and adult populations. The 175-lesson sequence starts with the important early elementary reading skills, often lacking in older learners, and progresses to high school reading and writing skills needed for personal and vocational survival at work and in the community. In keeping with adult needs, we address both reading and written expression. The program is designed and tested to equip instructors, tutors, aides, volunteers, and family members with reading instruction competencies that will apply to a wide range of formal and informal instructional settings. The Reading Instruction For Adolescents & Adults program provides teachers and parents a cost-effective and highly individualized instructional tool which meets the needs of high and low achievers. Because this program does not require consumable student materials, you will own all you need to conduct effective reading instruction now and for years to come. Regardless of the learners current level of achievement, this program permits you to start the students at an appropriate level and progress quickly with a high degree of success and dignity.
