Phonemic Awareness is a fundamental reading skill. Phonemic Awareness or PA, is the ability to hear and manipulate the sounds in spoken words and the understanding that spoken words are made up of sounds. Research has shown, struggling readers are often lacking this critical beginning reading skill. This program is a great introduction to reading and connects directly to the first few books of Reading For All Learners. This program is intended to be used with preschool and early elementary age learners. This is a very easy program to use and a great way build-reading readiness. Phonemic Awareness For All Learners is a complete classroom package. Included are the Teachers Manual and sturdy spiral bound Presentation Book. When open, the student(s) and instructor sit opposite each other. The student sees the presentation side of pages and the instructor can read the script (direct instruction model) for each lesson. Lessons may be taught in small group settings or on an individual basis. This program systematically builds these skills:
